Supreme Grand Chapter Update

Sisters and Brothers

I trust you are all well, keeping safe and you are all keeping in touch and looking out for each other during this Covid-19 pandemic.

These are extraordinary times indeed and we are all missing our Sisters and Brothers and look forward to when it will be safe for us to meet again. The Supreme Grand Chapter of Scotland are doing their best to continue with the smooth running of our Order and are holding regular virtual Committee meetings via Zoom.

Zoom was a new concept to us, and after one or two teething problems, we eventually took to it "like ducks to water". It allows us to meet socially distantant, safe in our own homes and discuss the issues relevent to our Order. We are learning somethng new every day.

Our virtual meetings allow us the opportunity to plan a route map we can hopefully use when our District Grand and Subordinate Chapter meetings are able to resume, This will no doubt mean changes in the manner we conduct our meetings, to ensure we all conform to the Scot.gov guidelines at that time but more importantly that we maintain the health and wellbeing of you the members, however the welcome news of a vaccine maybe a game changer over the next few months.

The WG Secretary  is currently working on the Website to create pages  to publish future important information and updates which will be a good pllatform to keep in touch and up to date (hopefully this will be completed by the end of November) some of the information published will be for members only therefore I would urge you  if you haven't already done so please join our Webste so that you will be able to access all updates. If you have any questions or problems please do not hesitate to contact the WG Secretary, all contact details are on the Website.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and feel free to tell other Sisters and Brothers who may have missed this information.

Please keep well and stay safe

Regards

Pat Brown
Most Worthy Grand Matron
